This post is a warning to all! DO NOT go see this movie! I hated it! I went w/ my family yesterday and we ended up walking out after almost two hours of no plot and a complete lack of morals. Seriously all the women are portrayed as completely desperate and all the men are complete pigs. This man's cheating on his wife, another man's refusing to marry his girlfriend of 7 years and the list goes on and on.
I'm getting so fed up w/ the lack of morals in PG 13 movies. I'm seriously thinking of giving them up all together, unless of course it's "Twilight"! Does this make me a complete prude?

Youth Conference
Any of you who read our blog and are from Farmington I need your help! My mom and I are doing a youth choir for Youth Conference on March 15th. If you know youth in the Farmington Stake please remind and encourage them to come join our wonderful choir! We're also having second year and up orchestra students come to add a little extra beauty to these wonderful songs by Jenny Philips.
Rehearsals start this Sunday February 15th at the Stake Center at 6:00. We're actually taking the choir at 6:00 and the orchestra kids at 6:45, but the orchestra kids are encouraged to sing w/ the choir for the pieces we're just using the choir.
So please, if you work with our wonderful youth or just know some of them help them to remember to come! Thanks so much!

Date Night
I'm sorry but I have to brag a little. I can't believe how sweet and thoughtful my Tom is almost all the time. It blows me away when he does so many little and big things to show me that I'm loved.
Last Friday night Tom told me he was going to take me out on a "first date". All he told me was to be ready by seven and to dress warm. I wasn't allowed to see him after work, we normally ride to and from together, so he took his truck and went to his parents house to get ready for the evening. I was so giddy all day. It seriously felt like I had a first date and I couldn't wait to see what was in store.
At seven sharp Tom came to the door holding a bouquet of tulips, my favorite, and looking pretty hot I must admit. He took me to dinner at a little Mexican restaurant in town where we ate yummy food and talked about our day.
He then took me to Big 5 so I could pick out a new beanie, I've never really had a good one. So we went to the store and tried on all the hats until we picked out the perfect one.
Then he took me to a park that's up on a hill and pretty private. We'd gone there to have some alone time when we were dating before his mission so this park holds some bitter sweet memories for us, mostly sweet now that he's home and we're married!!! He got a backpack out of the back of the truck and led me over to the play area where I noticed twinkly lights strung around the jungle gym. He sat me down w/ a blanket and then pulled a generator out of the back pack and plugged in the lights and his i pod and speakers. It was so incredibly romantic!!!! As if that's not enough he then pulled hot chocolate and mugs out of his bag. We had sat for a while talking and enjoying ourselves when he asked me to dance. I fell in love all over again as we danced under the stars w/ twinkly lights and love songs surrounding us.
After the park he took me home, but it wasn't over! He led me out to the backyard where he had our fire pit set to light and the makings for smore's ready to go, I LOVE smore's!!! So we finished off the amazing evening in our own back yard w/ a warm fire and a yummy treat.
