Fun Pics

My handsome brothers snowboarding in Denver. Tyler went to visit Clint and Ryan for Spring Break. He of course hurt himself and came home early. It just wouldn't be a true adventure for Tyler if he didn't come home wounded!

Tyler showing off his new board and the beautiful scenery.

Ryan sent me this picture of my niece Kaidence. It reminds us of our Grandpa Carl when he'd fall asleep in his recliner w/ a twix in his hand! Too cute!

Somehow these pictures were left out of my earlier post. I just didn't want anyone to miss these fabulous pictures!
This is Stevie's before shot!

Megan, her boyfriend Gavin and her son Taylor. It was so fun to have them come over for our party!

Fun weekend w/ Family

I LOVE this picture of Lauren, Denise's daughter. She really is the angel that she looks like.
She was so proud of her matching pink outfit!

Twilight Party!!!
My family came over so we could watch Twilight! Oh yeah!
Do you love the picture of Edward in the background? My mom actually bought that for me for Christmas this year. It's a pillow case! Tom just loved that!!!

Tom gave Denise a hot tattoo of Edward. He wouldn't give me one!

These pictures are out of order but we cut Stevie's hair and gave him a hot moe hock (SP?)

Jake and Denise came over to help us paint our trim. Thanks guys, we couldn't have done it without you!

Denise said this is my "special" friend picture!

Cute little Thomas! Denise's kids are getting so big and super cute.

Spiritual Thought

My mom receives a spiritual thought from the church web site every day and this one really hit where I needed it to. I thought I'd post it and share this special reminder to all. I love David A. Bednar. He was the President at BYU Idaho when I was there and I remember the special spirit that was there every devotional he spoke at.

"The Will of God"
"Discerning and accepting the will of God in our lives are fundamental elements of asking in faith in meaningful prayer. However, simply saying the words 'Thy will be done' is not enough. Each of us needs God's help in surrendering our will to Him." 'Prayer is the act by which the will of the Father and the will of the child are brought into correspondence with each other' (Bible Dictionary, "Prayer," 752-53). Humble, earnest, and persistent prayer enables us to recognize and align ourselves with the will of our Heavenly Father. And in this the Savior provided the perfect example as He prayed in the Garden of Gethsemane, 'saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done. . . . And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly' (Luke 22:42, 44)."

Santa Fe

My beautiful mom. I love to watch her in her element. I had so much fun tagging along and being her friend!
Handsome Taylor.
Barry came and sat by me while we watched the choir's performance. He certainly made it a lot funner while we were listening to the choirs who went before Piedra Vista! By the way, the choir sang beautifully. They're lucky to have such a talented and caring director.

I got to tag along this weekend to Santa Fe where Tom had to go for work and my mom was going for a choir competition. It worked out perfect that they were both going to be there so I didn't sit around bored all day while Tom was in his meetings. I just can't believe that I didn't get more pictures of the beautiful things I saw.
