Swenk Family Pictures

 When we went to Idaho a few weeks ago a friend of a friend of ours took our pictures.  It was such a fun time because Jacob just all of a sudden turned on the charm.  He just hammed it up for the ladies and the camera. 

 Jacob has been the most amazing joy to Tom and I.  I can't believe how much love this little boy has provoked from me, I didn't know I had so much to give.  He's happy almost all of the time, he's a great sleeper, he LOVES his dad, he loves to eat, throw balls and pound on the piano.  He's mischievous already and has that look in his eye when he knows he's getting away with something.  He's a dare devil who I have to watch all the time.  He's stubborn; when he gets something that he wants there's no changing his mind!  

He decided to start walking about a week before his first birthday which has made things so much fun for us.  He loves to swim, take baths and play with the hose.  

My whole world is seriously wrapped up in this little boy and everything he is becoming.  I love being a mom and can't wait to see what lies in store for our family.

Mother of the year...

Didn't throw her one year old a party for his Birthday!  So my sister took it upon herself to make him a cake and my sweet nephew Taylor decided to share his own party w/ Jacob.  I'm lucky to have good family!  So is Jacob!!

But really he didn't know what to think and wouldn't hardly touch it unless I fed it to him.  I guess that's a good thing that he didn't just did in to the sugary goodness!

This past weekend we went camping w/ the Swenks on Jacob's birthday.  It was so much fun to be out in Colorado living easy!  Jacob LOVES being outside and covered in dirt.  My mom bought this little chair for him for his birthday...he felt like a big boy!  Thanks mom!

Adventures in July...

Tom's sister Denise was here for almost a month!  It was so fun to have her and her kiddos, Lauren, Thomas and Kayley, here to spend some time with.

Tom, Jacob and I took our first family vacation in 9 years of marriage!  It was a blast to get away and just be us for a little while!  Jacob was amazing while we traveled.

My wonderful and beautiful friend Andrea.  Her and her husband, Justin, let us stay w/ them for a night while we were in Orem, UT.  They were awesome and so much fun!
